At Off the Leash we are committed to providing your dog the best possible boarding experience. We like to refer to our overnight care as “sleepovers” since the experience is more of a “pajama party” than anything else. Your dog will play with our other day care and sleepover guests all day long. After our day care guests have left for the day, your dog will be fed and have a chance to wind down after a fun filled day of play. After a particularly hard day of play, (for both staff and guests!) we may all curl up together and watch TV and just chill! We do not put your dog in a kennel (or as some places refer to them as villas, condos, cabins etc.) for the evening, although the option is available for those dogs that feel more comfortable in that environment. A staff member will stay with your pooch all night long. Your pet will have the opportunity to choose from one of our many sleep accommodations: toddler beds, cushy floor beds, sofas etc. Some dogs even prefer to sleep in bed with us! They will be given oodles of love and attention to help alleviate the stress of being without their family. We keep our sleepover groups intentionally small so that your dog is not overwhelmed. We also have areas where your dog can have “quiet time” when needed.

If your dog requires oral or topical medications, we will administer them at no additional charge to you. We DO NOT administer shots.

We will provide bowls, blankets, pillows, and toys. You must provide your dog’s food, as a change in diet may result in stomach upsets.

Because space is limited for our sleepovers, it is recommended that you make reservations at least two weeks in advance (longer for holidays). We will attempt to accommodate last minute stays when space is available.

All dogs must meet all of our health requirements and pass a temperament evaluation. Temperament evaluations are given Monday thru Thursday, and are by appointment only. We recommend that you make arrangements for this as soon as possible in case additional vaccinations are necessary and to allow time for the testing.
